Silene 'Blushing Lanterns'

Not the star of the show, but I would never be without it. The flower heads have gently veining and the petals are like tufts on the bottom of a skirt. There's not much else like it! Silene adds a graceful, feminine quality to any bouquet or garden.

How to Grow:

Begin seeds 5-7 weeks before planting out, or direct seed as soon as soil is workable. Silene seems to be at its best during the spring months, but will flower in summer if given afternoon shade.
